Children's Fortress Africa, Project #1 Kiamaiko Community Library
CFA run a shipping container community library in Nairobi's low-income Kiamaiko area. Demand is so high they are adding a 2nd container level, in 2026 our giving aims to cover this shortfall.
Children's Fortress Africa, Project #2 Annet's Counselling Studies
Annet, a passionate 23 year old social worker serving street-connected children, has identified a need to grow her counselling skills to better support young people who have experienced trauma. In 2026 our giving will cover her two year course.
Unreached People Groups
We have also made a commitment to sow into unreached people groups — those with little or no access to the gospel. In 2026, we will continue to invest in another unreached people group. We will not stop until all have heard.

Local Chaplaincy Support
In conversations about how we might support the local Hospital and local aged care homes on a chaplaincy level, bringing care, encouragement, prayer, and pastoral support to people who need it. If you are interested in being a part of this team, please speak to Ps Jason.
Colouring-In Circle
Women's Colouring in circle run by Hannah Aitchison happens every 2nd Wednesday. Women can come to connect and build relationships. This circle opens the front doors of the church, a great space for people pop their heads in to say hello and connect with the church.

In Term 3 we will be gifting a giant food parcel to Nuri High School to assist kids who need basic food items.
Gift for our local CFS Volunteers
In Term 4, we will be giving a delicious food & drinks hamper to the CFS volunteers here in Barossa. CFS volunteers sacrifice their time, energy, and safety to protect and serve our community. We want them to know that Encounter Church Barossa is thankful for them, standing with them, and ready to pray for them whenever they need it.
